So I decided to purchase interlocking floor mats made of very durable rubber to create a cushioned surface to work out on.

Luckily I found some at a local home fitness equipment store. They were a bit more expensive than the interlocking floor mats I purchased for my child but they were well worth the expense. I now have a comfortable and safe enviraonment to workout in...and for anyone who has small children knows...working out is a life saver in terms of relieving stress.
